What We Treat
Mood & Anxiety Disorders
Some of the most common concerns people come to therapy for are depression, worry, and anxiety. If you feel like these emotional experiences are getting in the way of living your best life, we can work together to discuss skills you need to learn to get better and make progress.
Trauma & PTSD
I am trained in cognitive-processing therapy, an evidence-based, manualized treatment for post-traumatic stress disorder. If you suspect you may have PTSD or if you are already diagnosed, I can walk you through what the treatment looks like to help you decide if it is right for you.
Emotion Dysregulation
Some individuals experience intense emotions and impulsivity that interfere with their functioning. They are often labeled as "sensitive" by others and may lack the skills to regulate their emotional distress. I am trained in dialectical-behavioral therapy and can teach you skills to regulate emotions and behaviors.
Life Transition/Life Stress
Change can be refreshing and scary! Many people seek therapy due to general life stress or life adjustments they are having difficulty navigating. You do not need to have a diagnosis to benefit from therapy. We can discuss your values and goals and figure out how to mindfully work through the stress together.
Services and Fees
Telehealth and in-person services
I am available for in-person sessions on Tuesdays in an office located in King-of-Prussia, PA. I also provide telehealth-only therapy through a secure platform on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. You must be connected to Wi-Fi through your device to access the sessions.
Fees and Payment
I am currently in network with Aetna and Highmark.
For Aetna or Highmark clients: Please call your insurance provider to ask about your mental health benefits. Make sure that I am in-network with your plan and that and ask whether or not you have a deductible. Some plans require you to meet a yearly deductible before they will pay for mental health services.
For all other clients: payment is due at the time of service. I will provide you with a monthly superbill that has all of the information needed in order to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. It is worth calling your insurance company in advance to find out how much they might reimburse you for therapy sessions.
Fee Schedule
50-minute psychotherapy session: $180
The intake process will occur during the first several sessions.
Insurance
For insurance clients: You will be charged a co-pay at the time of service.
For all other clients: Payment is due at the time of service. I will provide you with a monthly superbill to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
